Do you ever watch anything except FOX news? KDKA had a piece about every newly elected person - or every 2 years - congress remodels their offices! dozens of $1200 custom made leather chairs purchased every 2 years? What the heck! Congress also, in the midst of all these cuts, gave themselves and their entire staff raises! Unbelievable! Republicans are all talk about cutting spending - all talk and no action. I challenge them to put the money where their mouths are. Cut their own staff and their own budgets first. Their insurance benefits are ridiculous. They should have plans like the rest of us. They don't have a problem cutting other public paid employees' salaries and benefits, yet they pad their own. Hypocrits. Tax Marcelles Shale. As Andy pointed out, this will bring in money from other states and other countries. Why not take advantage of that??? Go back to the Clinton era taxes. The Clinton era showed the highest rate of growth the US had seen since WWII. Why? Because the rich people paid their fair share. Raise the sales tax and lower income tax. This would mean everyone would pay their fair share. In PA, sales tax is not assessed on clothes and food, therefore, this system would not adversely affect poor people. Rich people buy more, they would pay more. Illegals get paid under the table, they don't pay any income tax - increasing the sales tax would force them to pay their fair share.

There are several thoughts, I have others, but am tired typing. What ideas has Boehner brought to the table?? I'm still waiting to hear one idea from him! He was a broken record for months before the election - where are the jobs? Now, let's ask him his own question. John Boehner - where are the jobs??!
