Robert D. Lokhaiser, 75, of Rantoul, Ill., formerly of Butler, passed away Wednesday, March 11, at the Carle Hospital, Urbana, Ill.

He was born Jan. 26, 1934, in Butler, the son of Phillip M. and Mary O. (Dalmagro) Lokhaiser.

He married Arlene M. Bartley on Nov. 11, 1955, in Pennsylvania. She preceded him in death Feb. 20, 2001.

He is survived by a daughter, Terri Rohr of Rantoul; a granddaughter, Jessica Rohr, also of Rantoul; a sister, Phyllis Wise of Butler; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a plant manager of Saxonburg Ceramics, Monroe N.C.

He was a member of the Amateur Trap Shooting Association and a member of the NRA. He enjoyed hunting.
