Cole Stewart Gifford, seven-week-old infant son of Philip L. and Crystal K. Stewart Gifford of Switzer Road, Rimersburg, passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at his home Thursday.

He was born in Butler Memorial Hospital on Jan. 23, 2009, and is survived by his parents; one brother, Conner William Gifford at home; his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Marjorie Gifford of Venus, Pa., and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, William Stewart, who died in November 1991, and his maternal grandmother, Barbara Switzer Stewart, in May 2007.
