Pliskaner

David Carl Pliskaner, 32, of Cranberry Township died Saturday at UPMC Passavant Cranberry Hospital.

Born July 21, 1976, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Allen "Bud" and Ida Mae "Mazie" (Silhanek) Pliskaner of Cranberry Township.

David was a member of the St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, Cranberry Township.

He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoying camping, fishing and white-water rafting.

David worked as a computer-aided draftsman.

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son, Caden Allen Pliskaner; a brother, Michael P. Pliskaner of Cranberry Township; his maternal grandmother, Frances Silhanek of North Hills; his companion, Paula Zuravitch of Cranberry Township; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Edward Allen Pliskaner.

PLISKANER -- Friends of David Carl Pliskaner, who died Saturday, March 14, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SVCS.
