Edward H. Bopp, 82, of Central Drive, Butler, died at 5:25 p.m. Monday in the Butler Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Born Feb. 12, 1927, in Butler, he was the son of the late Leo Bopp and the late Helen Archer Bopp.

Mr. Bopp was a mechanic for the Chrysler Corp. Following that, he worked at Mickey and Bill's Garage on Holyoke Road until his retirement.

He was a member of the St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church.

Mr. Bopp is survived by his wife, Sarah Maxine Varner Bopp, whom he married Nov. 12, 1947; two daughters, Kathy Clark and her husband, Dennis, and Kim McAffe and her husband, Kevin, both of Butler; four grandchildren, Sarah McAffe, Emma McAffe, Aaron McAffe and Cody Clark.

He was preceded in death by one brother.
