CHERRY TWP — Moniteau High School will be the host of the Pennsylvania Music Educators Association junior high/middle school band festival Friday.

Students from 28 schools will perform in concert at 7 p.m. Friday in the auditorium, 1810 West Sunbury Road.

Admission is $3 for adults and $2 for students and senior citizens.

BUTLER TWP — Adrug awareness program for teens and their parents will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at The Haven, 1139 N. Main St. Ext.Speakers will include Detective Pat Cannon of the county's Drug Task Force and Ann Loper, an intervention specialist with the Butler Regional Recovery Program.Admission is free. SARVER — The Alzheimer's Association and Outlook Pointe at Sarver will present a four-part series beginning Tuesday for family members of those suffering from Alzheimer's disease.The series will be held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesdays at Outlook Pointe, 120 Elliott Road.
