Fred, the top 1% have over 40% of the nation's wealth but only pay about 28% of federal taxes. How can you or anyone defend a system in which wealth is redistributed upwards to those who have the most? You do realize that there is income redistribution in this nation and it is the rich who are the getting the money, correct?!
