Labor agreement reached at Seneca Valley
Seneca Valley DME
The Seneca Valley school board unanimously approved a new, six-year labor agreement with the Seneca Valley Education Association during a special meeting Aug. 17.
Negotiations have taken place since January. The Seneca Valley Education Association voted to accept the contract last week.
Under the newly approved agreement, the association will receive an average salary increase of 3.9% across the six-year term.
The new agreement covers Seneca Valley’s 611 professional staff including teachers, nurses, school counselors and librarians.
The deal will be effective from July 1 — as the current contract expired on June 30, 2026 — and will run through June 30, 2032.
