Ralph J. Edwards
Ralph J. Edwards, 52, of Butler died Sunday at Saint John's Lutheran Care Center in Mars.
Born in Butler Feb. 5, 1957, he was the son of Alberta (Birty Lou) Edwards Steighner and the late Dale L. Edwards.
He was employed at Magnetics for more than 25 years.
He was a member of Saint Mary of the Assumption Roman Catholic Church in Herman. He also belonged to the Roman Catholic Men's Club and the East Butler Volunteer Fire Company.
He coached the East Butler Bulldogs in the Butler Area Midget Football League for more than 20 years, and he also served as the public address announcer at league games. He was a former president of the East Butler Baseball Association.
He is survived by a daughter, Kelly Edwards of Butler, his mother of Butler, a brother, Dale F. Edwards and his wife, Terri, of Butler; a sister, Mrs. Bradley C. (Veronica) Walker of Butler; a number of nieces and nephews; and a great-niece.
