Drivers and other things
Hi - it's me on a tirade once again about the drivers in and around the city (mostly). Please when there is a STOP sign - observe it and STOP (no rolling, that doesn't count as a stop).
When it is dusk, please use your headlights so we can see you coming....
When it is raining, please use your headlights to make your vehicle more visible. Besides, it's a law if you have your wipers on, use your lights.
Lastly, if you want to use your cell phone, please pull over and finish your conversation. Please don't put my life or my family's life in jeopardy because you can't concentrate on both the road and your conversation at the same time.
And most important, CITY and TWP. Police, start making drivers obide by the law - we as taxpayers would appreciate it and look how much money you would make the city as about 1 in 10 people actually stop at stop signs (as a for instance).
It is getting to be nice weather out there and we now also have to watch for kids. I just saw a little kid on a starter bike with training wheels riding down Chestnut Street! He's about 5 yrs. old and if anyone (including me) would've been pulling across Federal Street, I hate to think what would've happened. I've also seen kids on the street laying down on their skateboards going down the road. And I have to ask - WHERE ARE THEIR PARENTS? Wake up people.
Ok. I'm done now that I got that all out....until next week!
