Ronald Reagan increased the debt more than any administration in the prior 200 years - and this was peacetime! Bush inherited a budget that was in the black and a 5.6 trillion SURPLUS was projected. Republicans voted SEVEN TIMES TO RAISE THE DEBT CEILING when Bush was in office. The current GOP leadership voted 19 times to increase the debt ceiling!! What hypocrits!! Now they introduce a bill to raise the ceiling, then vote the same bill they introduced down.
