Many of the protestors are turning violent with numerous police being injured and sent to the hospital.

Yes, people do have a right to peacefully protest. But they do not have a right to block traffic, ignore police commands, live in public parks, block bridges,spray paint private businesses, block access to buildings when people are trying to enter to work.

I may be in the 99%, but these protestors in no way represent me or my beliefs.

Many of the protestors seemed to have made poor choices in life and can't adapt in order to be successful. So let them blame those who are successful for their own poor choices.

Try getting a college degree that has a job waiting upon graduation, and there are plenty of those (unemployment among college educated is 4%).

Stop whining about $25,000 in college loan debt when you think nothing of spending $35,000 on a new car which loses 1/4 of its value the minute the tires hit the street. A college loan is the best kind of debt one can pay back (assuming that you don't get a degree in the mating habits of albino turkeys). The earning potential of a person with a college degree far exceeds that of a person without one.

Stop buying a $400,000 house when you can afford no down payment and make $40,000/year, then expect the rest of us who have actually paid off our mortgage to pay off yours,too.

Stop using a credit card to live beyond your means simply because "you have to have the latest cell phone" then complaining that you are being dunned to actually pay the credit card company back.

The message being sent by the protestors in the beginning was one that I feel most people had some sympathy for. However, when watching and listening to them now, I seriously doubt that the average American wants to even be associated with what is being shown on TV by the "poor oppressed press".

A better solution might be to send all of the protestors to our nation's capital and let them Occupy Washington, DC. That is where the message needs to be heard. (by both political parties).
