I think no matter what I write, you will disagree with me.

I have been saying for months that everyone should pay the same rate! You read what you want to read. I have stated numerous occasions that income tax should go away completely and be replaced by a National Sales Tax. Rich people buy more, they would pay more. Poor people buy less, they would pay less. People here on vacation would pay, immigrants - illegal or legal - would pay. Everybody would pay. It's too simple and no loopholes, so Congress won't go for it.

Who is saying there should be handouts? I went to college and have worked 30 years - I never got a handout and I don't believe in them either. I'm saying there should be fairness! The Congressional Budget Office reports that 1,470 households with income of more than a million dollar paid $0 in income taxes.

Now I know Jim will say that is fair, just because I say it isn't, but anyone else in the world who is not one of those households will feel cheated, just as I do.
