Helen Green-Smith

Helen L. Green-Smith, 91, of Butler, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026.

She was born in Butler on Nov. 5, 1934, daughter of the late Joseph and Sophie (Mostowy) Wetick.

Helen graduated from Butler High School in 1952 and furthered her education at Maison Felix School of Beauty. She was employed at Christy’s Beauty Salon and was also a hospice volunteer for five years. Helen was a member of All Saints Parish, St. Andrew Roman Catholic Church.

Helen is survived by her three sons, Kenneth, Joseph (Liz) and James (Kathy) Green; her three daughters, Joyce (Tom) Fuhs, Karen Lombardozzi and Amy (Bert) Green; grandchildren, Adam Fuhs, Erin (Jason) Van Gorder, Brandon (Kristy) Lombardozzi and Nicholas Lombardozzi, and Josh, Chad (Cori), Shannon and Kiana (Anthony Bertoluzzi) Green; and great-grandchildren, Ethan Green, Addison Walborn, Avery Van Gorder and Adam and Ian Sibille. She is also survived by numerous stepchildren, stepgrand- and great-grandchildren and her former son-in-law, Lee Roy Lombardozzi.

Along with her parents, Helen was preceded in death by her husbands, Kenneth Green, William Small and John Smith; her son, Mark W. Green; and her sisters, Alice (Gene) Porterfield and Catherine (Bruno) Clauser.

GREEN-SMITH — Per her wishes, all services for Helen L. Green-Smith, who died Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, were held privately through SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.
