Robert H. Slupe

Robert H. Slupe, 94, of Butler, passed away on Monday, Nov. 22, 2021.

He was born Dec. 23, 1926, in Butler, and was the son of the late Paul and Permilla Slupe.

Robert enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening, and meeting friends for coffee.

He was also known for his excellent work ethic.

Robert was the father of Brenda (Dennis) Cornibe, Bonnie (Joe) Michel, Randall (Susan) Slupe, Beth Nowakowski and Sandra Slupe; the brother of Ruth Shorts; and grandfather of Jill, Dana, Ben, Amanda, Dustin, Emily, Dalton and Austin.

He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and a large and loving family.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of over 70 years, Phyllis (Hinchberger) Slupe; six brothers; and a sister.

SLUPE — Friends of Robert H. Slupe, who died Monday, Nov. 22, 2021, will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 24, 2021, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler.

A Catholic blessing service will immediately follow in the funeral home.

Burial will be held privately.
