PITTSBURGH — A transit bus has been pulled from service because a woman fell from the vehicle after its rear doors reportedly opened unexpectedly while rounding a corner.

The Port Authority of Allegheny County says the incident happened about 6 p.m. Friday in Pittsburgh.

The transit authority isn't identifying the bus driver or the passenger who fell from the vehicle. She was taken to UPMC Mercy Hospital. Her condition was unclear Sunday.

PITTSBURGH — Police are warning residents to seek treatment if they've had contact with a rabid feral cat that attacked a woman and two toddlers.Police say they captured and euthanized the cat after it attacked the woman, her daughter and nephew about 3 p.m. Friday. Both children are 3 years old.Police say the cat attacked without provocation.
