Man robbed, impaled in Philly
PHILADELPHIA — Police say a man was robbed and thrown into a construction site, where he was impaled on a piece of rebar.
A police spokeswoman said three or four males chased the 38-year-old victim down Broad Street, then beat and robbed him early Monday.
Police said the man was taken to a hospital, where he was reported in stable condition Monday.
