CRANBERRY TWP — Motorists will notice nighttime lane restrictions beginning next week on Interstate 79 at the Cranberry Township exit and the Little Creek Road exit in Jackson Township.

The state Department of Transportation on Thursday announced that milling, paving and repairs to the bridge approaches will be carried out from 6 p.m. to 6 a.m. in both the northbound and southbound lanes at those I-79 exits.

Also, flagger-controlled traffic will be in place next week on North Boundary Road for bridge work.

The $16.7 million I-79 resurfacing project is expected to be complete by October.
