Interim chief medical officer at AHN Wexford to stay
Allegheny Health Network has appointed its new chief medical officer for AHN Wexford Hospital.
Steven Goodnow will take over the role effective immediately, according to the health network, after serving as interim chief medical officer since February.
Goodnow will continue to oversee clinical operations, quality and safety initiatives, and physician affairs.
He began his career at AHN as an internal medicine resident, later serving as a primary care physician and then a hospitalist. Prior to his interim CMO role, he served as the hospitalist medical director at AHN’s Wexford and Grove City hospitals.
Board-certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, Goodnow earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from the University of Pittsburgh
