PITTSBURGH — Southwest Airlines will be offering daily nonstop flights between Pittsburgh and Nashville.

The company said the first flight will depart Pittsburgh International Airport at 7:55 a.m. Tuesday.

The Allegheny County Airport Authority said officials in both cities will hold dedication ceremonies, with polka music in Nashville and country music in Pittsburgh.

Nashville will be Southwest’s ninth destination from Pittsburgh.
