Jeremy Deighton scored the game's lone goal off an assist from Jeff Hamley as the Slippery Rock University men's soccer team defeated Millersville 1-0 on Wednesday.

Brandon McQuillen recorded his fourth shutout of the year for The Rock (5-2 overall, 5-1 in the PSAC).

Danielle Cooper and Mallory Neubert each rang up two goals as SRU blanked Clarion 4-0, outshooting the Golden Eagles 17-3 in the process.Lauren McManus (60 minutes) and Becky Morgan (30 minutes) combined for the shutout for The Rock (7-0, 5-0).

Kutztown blanked SRU 9-0 on Wednesday to fall to 1-3 overall, 0-3 in the PSAC. All three SRU losses have come against top 10 nationally-ranked squads.
