Robert S. McKivigan, 57, of Butler, passed away Tuesday, July 28, 2026.

He was born in Butler on July 4, 1969, son of the late David and Anna Marie (Hesidence) McKivigan.

Robert was employed at his family’s business, Butler Tires for Less.

He was known for being outgoing, kind, caring, funny and had a warm heart with a beautiful soul. He walked to the beat of his own drum and cherished every moment with his daughter. Robert found joy in the simple things. He took great pride in detailing cars and reminiscing about older cars he had. He was a part of a bowling league and loved being on the golf course.

He was the father of Audrey McKivigan; and brother of Donna Kuhns, Rick (Sandy), Ray (Charlotte), Deanna (Bill) and Ryan (Amy) McKivigan. He was also affectionately known as “Pappy” to his grandchildren, whom he loved wholeheartedly.

Along with his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his brother, Ronald McKivigan.

MCKIVIGAN — Family and friends of Robert S. McKivigan, who died Tuesday, July 28, 2026, will be received from 5 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 11, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A closing prayer will immediately follow in the funeral home.
