Lahey

Myra Lahey, 83, of Butler, passed away peacefully Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, on her 83rd birthday, after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born in Pittsburgh on Aug. 2, 1943, daughter of the late Dorothy Wolf.

Her remarkable strength and determination were evident to the very end. She fought fiercely with grace and courage, inspiring all who knew her, she will be greatly missed.

She was the mother of Debbie (Jim) Hawn, Dave (Michelle), and Marie, Linda (Kim) and Brian (Heather) Lahey; grandmother of 11; and great-grandmother of eight.

The family would like to thank Good Samaritan Hospice for taking exceptional care of Myra.

LAHEY — Family and friends of Myra Lahey, who died Sunday, Aug. 2, 2026, will be received from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, at SPENCER D. GEIBEL FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, 140 New Castle Road, Butler. A closing prayer will immediately follow in the funeral home.
