Judith L. Wright, 79, of Saxonburg, passed away peacefully Friday, July 24, 2026, at AHN Allegheny Valley Hospital.

Judy was born Jan. 3, 1947, at Allegheny Valley Hospital. She was the daughter of the late George W. and Dorothy M. Thompson.

Her memory will be forever cherished by her husband of 59 years, Jim Wright; her three children, Keith W. (Susan) Wright, Heather L. (Michael) Venesky and Matthew A. (Kelly) Wright; her eight grandchildren, Megan (David) Govan, Owen (Alli) Venesky, Drew Venesky and Mallory, Lindsay, Abbey, Aidan and Quentin Wright; and two great-grandsons, Logan and Grady Govan.

Judy loved God and was a member of St. Luke’s Evangelical Church in Saxonburg. She was a 1964 graduate of Freeport High School. Judy was active, at an earlier age, and served as president of the Saxonburg Volunteer Fire Company’s Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, crafting and spending time with her family.

She was preceded in death by her four siblings, George, Tommy, Richard and Robin.

WRIGHT — There will be a celebration of life ceremony for Judith L. Wright, who died Friday, July 24, 2026, at 10 a.m. Aug. 15, at St. Luke’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 310 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
