Crews continued this past week to build the new Hampton Inn Hotel at 610 Butler Crossing behind Mikan Motors off New Castle Road in Butler Township. Kay Neubert, the project manager for the hotel, said crews are working on the second floor of the five-story structure. Work began in January. She said the exterior of the 54,500-square-foot hotel is to be done by the end of July while the interior will be finished in December. The 80-room hotel is to open at the beginning of next year.
