Blue for the Reflecting Pool? How nice! President Donald Trump will do anything to get his name, logo or mark on anything. Who is he kidding? Blue is for the states that support him and blue flags. What is next, a blue White House?

I do not think anyone vandalized the Reflecting Pool. If the company did not follow instructions, or the water was not properly cleaned, it would not stick. When was the original contract put out for bid, and was the company qualified to perform the work?

Then, a no-bid contract was awarded to repair and correct the situation to the same company. Have their qualifications changed?
