CRANBERRY TWP — The Butler County Tourism and Convention Bureau added a new board member at its board meeting Thursday.

Stephen Catt, the executive director of work force development training programs at Butler County Community College, will represent the conference, meeting and banquet facilities segment of the tourism bureau. He replaces Justin Griffith, the chief executive officer at the Regional Learning Alliance in Cranberry Township, who resigned due to scheduling conflicts.

Catt will take his seat Oct. 16.

KITTANNING — ACMH Hospital has been recognized by the Hospital and Healthsystem Association of Pennsylvania for exceptional performance as part of its Pennsylvania Hospital Engagement Network.The award recognizes hospital performance within the network and Partnership for Patients program goals of reducing preventable harm and readmissions.
