Corgnati

Cecilia B. “Sis” Corgnati, 93, of the Butler Junction section of Freeport, passed away peacefully Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Sis was born in Natrona Heights, on Sept. 29, 1932, a daughter of the late Bessie (Tucholski) and John Nowikowski.

She was the widow of Felix M. “Wimp” Corgnati, who passed away in 2023. She was a member of St. Mary, Mother of God Church, in Freeport. Sis enjoyed gardening, canning, fishing and taking care of her kids.

Sis is survived by her daughter, Donna (Keith) Blackburn, of Sarver; and two sons, Terry Corgnati, of Indiana, Pa., and John Corgnati, of Buffalo Township. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Jennifer L. (Shane) Fox, Christopher L. Corgnati, Amy Blackburn and Travis Adamsky; great-grandchildren, Silas, Chay, Sean and Kentleight; her sisters, Honey and Loretta; and brother, Edju.

Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her grandson, Brian; great-grandson, Cody; and three brothers, John, George and Raymond.

CORGNATI — A Mass of Christian burial for Cecilia B. “Sis” Corgnati, who died Sunday, July 26, 2026, will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, at St. Mary, Mother of God Church, in Freeport, with Father Vincent Concepcion officiating.

Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Freeport.
