Despite outgaining Geneva College in total offense and holding a seven-minute edge in time of possession, the Grove City College football team suffered a 13-12 loss to the Golden Tornadoes, Saturday in Beaver Falls.

Butler graduate Chris Haley kicked two field goals of 32 and 26 yards in the loss, and junior tailback Brian Mercer ran the ball 17 times for 101 yards for the Wolverines (4-6).

GCC quarterback Andrew DiDonato added a 5-yard touchdown pass to Jay Yanak.

Geneva pulled out the win with a touchdown pass from Bobby Bondi to Luke Duriancik with nine seconds left in the game.
