Margaret E. Herr, 87, of Plum died Monday in St. Anne's Home, Greensburg.

She was born Aug. 17, 1922, daughter of the late Clarence and Margaret Quinn Herr.

She was a former vice president and loan officer for Mellon Bank for many years, and a was a member of Mother of Sorrows Church in Murrysville.

She was preceded in death by a half-brother, Clarence S. Herr, Jr.

Margaret is survived by two nieces, Marilyn (William) Lott and Marlene (Bob) Lott, both of Butler; several cousins; great-nieces and great-nephews; and great-great nieces and nephews.

<B>HERR — </B>Friends of Margaret E. Herr, who died Monday, June 21, 2010, will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at <B>HART FUNERAL HOME, </B>Murrysville. A funeral mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday in the Mother of Sorrows Church, Murrysville. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Pittsburgh.
