Larry A. Dovey
Larry A. Dovey, 56, of Butler died Saturday at his home.
Born March 24, 1950, in Tarentum, he was the son of William H. and Joan Watt Dovey.
After high school, he enlisted in the U.S. Army, where he served his country in Vietnam. He worked as a truck driver for Smith Trucking in Saxonburg. He was a member of Ducks Unlimited and the Cabot United Methodist Church. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, and the outdoors.
Surviving are his son, Nathan A. Dovey and his wife, Alisha of Butler; his parents of Saxonburg; his sister, Bonnie Arthur of Freeport; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews; and his faithful caregiver, Kelly.
Preceding him in death was his wife, Alma "Diane" Dovey in 2003.
<B>DOVEY</B> — Friends of Larry A. Dovey, who died Saturday, April 15, 2006, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, 410 W. Main St., Saxonburg.Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home with the Rev. Matthew Judd officiating. Burial will follow in Butler County Memorial Park.
