Karen Fay Ruppender Danik, 58, of Valencia, formerly of Westlake, Ohio, passed peacefully Tuesday with her family by her side.

She was the beloved wife of Robert Charles Jr.; cherished mother of Bryan A. (Gina) and Megan Alexandra; and dear sister of Alda Morris (Walter).

Karen was a lifelong horticulturalist and avid plant collector.
