Howard Ripley "Howie" Wilson, 51, of Butler died Monday at Butler Memorial Hospital after a long illness.

Born Sept. 12, 1958, in McKeesport, he was a 1976 graduate of Seneca Valley High School and received a full scholarship for football to West Liberty College, W.Va.

He is survived by his parents, Elmer "Rip" and Alice "Sis" Wilson; a daughter, Tiffany Wilson; two sisters, Kim Straessley (Fred) and Candy Stevenson (Dan); and four nephews.

He was preceded in death by twin sons, Corey and Justin.

<B>WILSON</B> — A memorial service for Howard Ripley "Howie" Wilson, who died Monday, Aug. 2, 2010, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Harmony Moose, 607 Mercer St., Harmony.
