Scott Bradley Oldin, 49, of Evans City, formerly of Lakeview, N.Y., passed away Aug. 23 at his home.

He was born Oct. 24, 1960, in Sault Ste. Marie, Mich., the son of the late Jenks Oldin and the late Lynne (Johnson) Oldin.

He had been a mechanical engineer for Herr-Voss Stamco since 1993.

He loved woodworking and reading, and his sarcastic wit was second to none.

Surviving are his companion, Candace J. Zahren; his daughter, Mrs. Pat (Danielle) McFeely of Orchard Park, N.Y.; his son, Christopher Oldin of Hamburg, N.Y.; a granddaughter, Abby McFeely; a sister, Mrs. William (Michelle) Simet of Hamburg; a nephew, Justin Simet of Hamburg; and a niece, Kelsey Simet of Hamburg.
