Margaret M. White, 63, of Butler died Tuesday at Butler Memorial Hospital.

Born in Pittsburgh, she was a daughter of the late William C. and Ruth H. (Henninger) McElvain.

A homemaker and mother, she also was a dog breeder who participated in dog shows.

She was a member of the American Kennel Club and the Keeshond Club of America. She enjoyed horseback riding and gardening.

Surviving are her son, Richard "Chip" White and his wife, Crystal, of Butler, and granddaughter, Vanessa White.
