Ralph E. Doerr
Ralph E. Doerr, 96, of Cabot passed away Wednesday at the Good Samaritan Hospice at Concordia.
He was born June 21, 1914, in Winfield Township to George and Mathilda Voland Doerr.
He served in the U.S. Army Air Corps during World War II in Europe.
He worked for Penn Dixie Cement as an electrician, retiring in 1976 after 40 years.
He was a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot.
He enjoyed working on cars, farming and his dog.
Surviving are two daughters, Linda (Joe) Bogan of Sarver and Brenda (Bob) Daniele of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; three grandchildren, Joe Bogan, Kelly (Shawn) Follstaedt and Dave (Jen) Krason; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Harry Doerr; and two sisters, Estella Doerr and Mabel Doerr.
<B>DOERR — </B>Friends of Ralph E. Doerr who died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at <B>Fox Funeral Home</B>, Saxonburg. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with the Rev. Barry Keurulainen officiating.
