Catherine Hattinger Alston, 92, of Mars died Wednesday.

Born Oct. 23, 1917, she was the daughter of Leonard and Carrie Hattinger.

Catherine was the beloved wife of the late James; and cherished mother of Dennis (Suzanne) and the late James Jr. (Karol). She also is survived by four grandchildren, Susie Robles, Jill Liberto (Sam), James Alston III (Randi) and Dennis Alston Jr. (Emily); and nine great-grandchildren, Corey, Jenna, Riley, Spencer, Ryan, Taylor, Matthew, Radien and Kullin; and several nieces and nephews.

<B>ALSTON</B> — Friends of Catherine Hattinger Alston, who died Wednesday, Sept. 8, 2010, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the <B>DEVLIN FUNERAL HOME </B>of Cranberry, 2678 Rochester Road, 724-772-8800. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Dutilh United Methodist Church.
