SADSBURYVILLE, Pa. — Officials say the 13-year-old Pennsylvania boy killed in a lightning strike was bailing hay with his father when he died.

The Lancaster County coroner’s office says Levi Lantz was struck around 7:30 p.m. Thursday.

The coroner says the boy’s father was driving a team of horses when he felt a tingling sensation then heard a loud clap. When he turned around, his son was on the ground.
