KATE DeGEORGE (Butler), a junior on the Thiel College women's track and field team, ran a leg on the Tomcats' 400-meter relay team that qualified for NCAA Division IIINationals May 22-24. The quartet ran a 48.22-second time at Friday's Gregory Invitational to become the first relay team in school history to reach nationals.•

ABBEY BASTA (Slippery Rock), a sophomore on the Westminster College women's track and field team, ran a leg for the Titans' 400-meter relay team that set a President's Athletic Conference meet record time of 48.26 seconds and qualified for the NCAA meet.
