Cranberry offers Take-Out Movies

There are two editions of Cranberry Township’s Take-Out Movie series.

Take-Out Movies feature a family-friendly film as well as dinner and dessert options. The movies will be shown on the front lawn of the municipal center behind the Sample Schoolhouse.

“Finding Nemo” will be shown at 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Food trucks include Delina’s EthioCafe and Slurp-N-Burst, among others.

A Halloween celebration is set for 4:30 p.m. Oct. 15. Food trucks, which will begin serving at 4:30 p.m., will include Delina’s EthioCafe, Revival Chili, Cool Bean Tacos and Slurp-N-Burst. The animated “The Addams Family” begins at 6:30 p.m.

A Candy Graveyard, organized by the Cranberry Township Public Library, will be offered from 5 to 6 p.m. Oct. 15 in the front parking lot, allowing children ages 3 to 8 to “trick-or-treat” at several different “gravestones.”

This portion of the event is open while treats last. There is no admission cost. Food trucks will begin serving at 5 p.m. on both nights and are subject to change.

Social distancing will be maintained and masks should be worn unless eating or drinking.
