Shelby Jean Henry, 73, passed away Feb. 8 in Los Angeles, Calif., where she lived with her daughter, Rhonda.

Shelby, formerly of the Southside of Columbus, Ohio, and of Chicora, was born Feb. 1, 1938. A loving mother and devoted sister, she was born in Bypro, Ky., to John and Malta Mae Ramey.

Shelby was known for her kindness and sweet nature. She loved reading, traveling and animals. She was very supportive of her friends and family.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Charles and Dan Ramey; and sisters Ruth Boyhan and Mary Hamilton.

She is survived by her daughters, Paula Beaver of Grove City, Ohio, and Rhonda Henry of Los Angeles, Calif.; her son, Paul Michael Troyer of Butler; her stepson, Randy Henry of Lucasville, Ohio; and her loving and devoted sister, Della Lincoln of Butler. She leaves to mourn numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

<B>HENRY </B>— A private cremation and inurnment for Shelby Jean Henry, who died Tuesday, Feb. 8, 2011, will be held for the family only.A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 26, at the Trinity Assembly of God, 1112 Demorest Road, Columbus, Ohio 43204.
