Michelle L. "Mickey" Geibel, 53, of Butler died Wednesday at her residence.

She was born Nov. 11, 1955, in Butler, a daughter of Janice Oldaker Geibel and the late Glenn H. "Pee Wee" Geibel.

Mickey worked at the Moraine Point Giant Eagle in the produce department for over 17 years.

She was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler. She was also a member of T.O.P.S. 181 in Butler.

She enjoyed traveling and going to her family's camp "Bonniebrook" in Kane.

She was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and also greatly enjoyed bowling, dancing and singing.

Mickey was very family oriented and loved being with the children in her family.

Her mother, Mrs. Janice Geibel, survives her. Also surviving are her sisters, Deborah and Brenda Geibel, both of Butler; and her godparents, Ralph and Lauretta Christie of Butler. Numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins also survive her. She will be greatly missed by her Maltese puppy, Nickie Noodle.

<B>GEIBEL </B>— Friends of Michelle L. "Mickey" Geibel, who died Wednesday, March 4, 2009, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the <B>Geibel Funeral Home</B>, 201 E. Cunningham St. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler with Father Pierre Falkenhan, pastor, officiating. Burial will follow at Butler County Memorial Park.The Women's Council of St. Peter Parish will meet at 9:40 a.m. Monday at the church to recite the rosary.Information also is available at www.geibelfuneralhome.com.
