Jeremy Deighton scored two goals and Toby Bowser added a school-record-tying four assists as the Slippery Rock University men's soccer team edged Gannon 5-4 Saturday.

The win was The Rock's seventh in a row to move to 12-4-1 over and 3-3 in the PSAC-West.

Kenneth Fultz, Anthony Paganie and Lucas Feathers also scored for SRU.

Alison Hindley accounted for SRU's lone goal in a 5-1 loss to Gannon in PSAC-West action.Chelsea Sneed added the assist for The Rock (11-5-1, 7-4-1).

Anna Bixler had 14 assists and 13 digs for SRU, but Edinboro came away with the 25-22, 25-19, 17-25, 25-19 PSAC-West win.Jen Blasko added 17 digs and seven kills and Anastasia Urbanik added 10 kills.
