Claire Ann (Stroh) Pollard of East Lansing, Mich., formerly of the Bronx, N.Y., Butler and Richmond, Va., passed away Wednesday at the age of 79.

She ws born Nov. 20, 1931, in the Bronx, to Frederick Stroh and Elsie Kramer.

She loved gardening, cooking and crocheting.

Claire was preceded in death by her husband, Harold Pollard, and a son, Matthew R. Miller.

She is survived by her children, Raymond R. Miller, Michael F. Miller, Lori A. Miller and Suzanne M. Miller; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and her former husband, Raymond L. Miller.
