David E. Hollerman
David E. Hollerman, 80, of Zelienople passed away Friday morning at his home.
Born in Ellwood City, Dec. 2, 1930, he was the son of the late T. Frank and Goldie Myers Hollerman.
He was a member of the English Lutheran Church, Zelienople.
Mr. Hollerman had retired as a train car repairman for several different railroad companies.
He was a private first class in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was a life member of the American Legion Post 474, Zelienople.
Mr. Hollerman was preceded in death by his wife, Vivian I. Shipley, who died Aug. 30, 1999; one brother; two sisters; and one grandson.
He is survived by one daughter, Donna (John) Rice of Harmony; two sons, Mark (Darcy) Hollerman of Harmony and Allan (Linda) Hollerman of Zelienople; one brother, Arthur Hollerman of Zelienople; 10 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
<B>HOLLERMAN</B> — Relatives and friends of David E. Hollerman, who died Friday, Sept. 30, 2011, will be received at the <B>A. Carl Kinsey-Ronald N. Volz Funeral Home</B>, 114 W. Spring St., Zelienople from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Services will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Tuesday.
