Ex-Rock star Adams injured for Cards
WASHINGTON — St. Louis Cardinals first baseman Matt Adams is out of the lineup against the Washington Nationals after feeling soreness in his right side during batting practice.
Manager Mike Matheny said neither Adams nor the team’s medical staff thinks the injury is serious.
