Gregory William “Greg” Snyder, 61, of Evans City passed away Monday while in the comfort of his home.

Born May 22, 1950, in Sheridan in Pittsburgh, he was the son of Mildred (Kossler) Snyder of the South Hills and the late Harry Snyder.

Greg loved vegetable gardening and his family. He will be dearly missed and lovingly remembered.

He is survived by his loving wife of 41 years, Katherine N. (Pharo) Snyder, who he married on July 18, 1970; two loving daughters, Tamera Petty of Minnesota and August Bailey and her husband, Michael, of Jackson Township; his sister, Lynn Mincin of Pittsburgh; and four loving grandchildren, Kalen Bailey, Tara Bailey, Nick Petty and Joshua Petty.
