Donald Hill Sr.
Donald M. Hill Sr., 62, of Cranberry Township, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, at home.
Born Aug. 6, 1959, in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late David Hill and Joan Toomey Hill.
Don leaves behind to cherish his memory his beloved wife of 38 years, Debra Grubbs Hill; his sons, Donald (Betty) Hill Jr. and Douglas Hill; his grandchildren, McKenzie and Dylan; his siblings, Susan Hill Mulhollam, David (Pat) Hill, Danny (Kelli) Hill and Diane (Joe) Viviano; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Donald and Mona Grubbs; his brother-in-law, Scott (Mickey) Grubbs; 13 nieces and nephews; and 12 great-nieces and great-nephews.
In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his niece, Jennifer Mulhollam.
Don was employed for 30 years of service at Veka Inc., where he was well-respected among his colleagues and made many friends.
He was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers, Penguins and Pirates, and NASCAR, and enjoyed listening to music.
Above all, he loved his family, especially his grandkids.
HILL — Friends of Donald M. Hill Sr., who died Sunday, Jan. 16, 2022, will be received from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday with a celebration of life service at 6 p.m. at BOYLAN-GLENN-KILDOO FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES , 130 Wisconsin Ave., Cranberry Township, with Pastor Reid Moon as celebrant.
