Neil Conrad Snyder
Neil Conrad Snyder, 87, of West Liberty Road, Slippery Rock, Brady Township, passed away at the Trinity Living Center, Grove City, on Tuesday.
He was born in Brady Township on June 22, 1924, to Elvy Floyd Snyder and Helen E. Badger Snyder.
He married Betty Hovis, who is deceased.
He graduated from Slippery Rock High School and was a U.S. Army veteran.
He was a life-long dairy farmer and very passionate about farming. He served as a Brady Township supervisor for many years. He was very active with the Conservation District for Butler County and was a former chairman of it.
He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. He had attended the Muddy Creek Presbyterian Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Betty; a sister, Helen Ruth Snyder; and two brothers, Paul and Elvy Snyder.
Surviving are his brother, John O. Snyder of Georgia; and a number of nieces and nephews.
<B>SNYDER</B> — Services for Neil Conrad Snyder, who passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2012, will be at 3 p.m. Saturday. The Rev. James Lewis, pastor of the West Liberty United Methodist Church will officiate.Visitation will be at the <B>Smith Funeral Home</B>, 421 New Castle St., Slippery Rock, from noon until the time of the service at 3 p.m. Saturday. The interment will be in Muddy Creek Cemetery, Muddy Creek Township, Butler County.
