Bernice Book, 82, of the Chicora Medical Center passed away Monday morning at Butler Memorial Hospital following an illness.

Born in Pennsylvania on May 22, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Vern and Catherine Walker Book.

She was a Protestant.

Surviving are several nieces, nephews, great- nieces and great-nephews.
